Lenmar Charger, Dual 9V Low-tech – Alan G. Kirk – Santa Barbara, CA
You have to keep track of the charging time. Does not turn off automatically. Takes a LONG time to charge. Piece of c**p!
Great product, I have been using it to recharge Alkaline 9V batteries (not recommended by manufacturer), and it has worked great. However, you need to be careful as this charger doesn’t have overvoltage protection, so if you leave the alkalines in for too long (24 hours), they will overcharge to 11+ Volts. Sometimes the alkalines will bulge when overcharged. If you want to charge “rechargeable” batteries, there are some guidelines on the back of the packaging about charging times (for NiCd & NiMH):
100-120mAh 8-10 hours
150-180mAh 12-14 hours
200-230mAh 18-20 hours
Overall, a well priced charger, just be careful not to leave it plugged in for too long! Lenmar: PRO9V2 Lenmar Charger, Dual 9V
