This battery is significantly cheaper than buying another OEM battery from Dell. When I received the battery, I was surprised to see it was not at all as it’s pictured, but that it has an extra extension that functions as a palm rest, similar to the nine cell battery. So it’s bigger than pictured. However, this isn’t so bad, because it’s still the same weight as the six cell, and I was looking to keep it light. The battery seems to work fine, and I have been through several discharge cycles, and I get a little over two hours (maybe 2:20 or 2:30) on a charge.

While this battery is not ideal, it’s certainly worth the price as a replacement battery. Also, the seller shipped it via USPS very quickly – three business days from California to Indiana. That was excellent as far as I’m concerned.
